I had the wonderful opportunity to visit with a number of our folks serving overseas these past two weeks. The fellowship was good. The foods were different. The daily routines were often arduous and intense. Discussions were about what God is doing, how He is working, and sometimes about the limited resources and the difficulties caused thereby.
I'm impressed with the people whom we support through our Lottie and CP giving. My church will do our best to increase our Christmas offering again this year in spite of extremely tight finances.
And since it looks like the SBC is no better off for my having been away from blogging for a couple of weeks, I suppose I will keep plodding away here.
