Plodder is going fishing...

...and there I sit in frozen, perhaps forlorn solitude with no thought of SBC stuff, the latest housing allowance, not even semi-pelagianism. I give not one nanothought to a single Calvinist, Traditionalist, or ambitious fence-rider.

I'm ratcheting down my blogging for a while.

I'm not literally going fishingand, no, that's not really me and. I don't get ice fishing unless one drops by the liquor store first, something I have not even done to get rum for my wife's rum cake (I've always called on a deacon familiar with the lay of the land in a likker store to do that for me) and if one doesn't do that then what's the point? You sit, freeze, and hope some fish will swim by?

I'm hustling too hard to pay my GuideStone health insurance bill each month and feel like a short term break.

If something really staggering hits SBC life, like someone really high up in the SBC suddenly deciding to be open and transparent and say something like, "Some Calvinists just need rabies vaccinations, put that in the BFM" or "There are Traditionalists that are dumb as pine stumps and just as sticky and annoying" I'll jump back in.

Otherwise, see ya...

I always check my email

sbcplodder@gmail.com

and will continue to do so. Who knows I might really have a windfall coming out of Nigeria from some high level minister, or general, or wife of a general or minister or nice Christian person there who just wants to give me, "beloved friend" a gazillion or two bucks...

These guys from Georgia, maybe one named William, went up to Wisconsin to do some ice fishing. They got up early the first morning and headed out to the lake. Way after dark that night they came in to the resort. The owner asked, "How many fish did you catch?" "None" was the reply. "We didn't even get a chance to fish."
"Why not?"
"It took us all day to chop a hole in the ice big enough for the boat!"
