Spam can be good, Chic-Fil-A can be annoying...et al

Helpful spam: A suicide bomber in Moscow was killed last New Year’s Eve when the explosives she was wearing went off prematurely. Seems that the bomb had a cell phone trigger, a phone call to her cell explodes the bomb, and she got the phone call while in a ‘safe’ house, not in the location or at the time to kill the maximum number of innocent people. The phone call was a text, a Happy New Year message from her cell provider – a spam text if you will. Best spam message ever sent. BTW, the woman was a member of a radical Islamic terrorist group, a detail you will not learn from our MSM because it would be politically incorrect.

Unrest in Egypt is troubling. One bright spot: When looters attacked one of the world’s truly great museums, the splendid, incomparable Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, from among the Egyptian protesters materialized a human chain at the museum's front gate to prevent looters from making off with any of its priceless artifacts. The idea of the gold mask of King Tutankhamen, perhaps archaeology’s most recognizable artifact, or his solid gold coffin being damaged or stolen is unthinkable.

Is anyone else mildly annoyed that the workers at Chic-Fil-A are so nice and helpful?

No joke. A kid in Atlanta was arrested for stealing his sister’s stuff. His name? Devious. If parents are going to make up names for their kids they should be required to consult a dictionary.

Also in the Atlanta area, school cheating scandal continues. Nope. Not the students but teachers and principals. The latest involved a principal who kicked the dumber kids out of the school days before critical testing and re-enrolled them days after.

Have a nice weekend.
