Searching for these...

...a far more important task than blogging.

William -

I got a huge one of these two years ago on our churches annual men's retreat. Problem was, I put it in a church members truck and he left early and I never saw it again. Got my LED light out and my battery charged. Can't hide from me.....

I may be spiritually ignorant but what in the world is that? Looks like a flounder on the bottom of the ocean to me but then its probably a Baptist deacon or a mega-church pastor. Maybe its something I was supposed to learn in seminary but missed it.

It looks like what it is. A few feet of water, a lighted pole jig, a spear with rope attached and you can catch one of these too. Heading to outer banks to get me some next week.

You didn't learn to jig for flounder in seminary? Where did you go? You need to get your money back.

We don't jig for anything in Fort Worth. We do however hunt wild pigs and rattlesnakes which is a lot more exciting than a fish.

Since I didn't pay much to go to SWBTS, I probably won't ask for my money back. Paige needs it to spend on something for himself.

Gigging for flounder was very nice. Had some success.
